The Creation

ASTROM defines its creations as being the symbiosis between top-quality gems and an advanced thinking about the aesthetics and ergonomics of each of its pieces. Creating a piece of High Jewllery, it is like creating a piece of architecture, the foundations and the structure of which must be anticipated. The high standards imposed at each stage of creation and manufacture require dozens, even hundreds of hours of work on certain pieces. ASTROM offers creations set with intense coloured stones, enhanced by the presence of white diamonds. In order to combine attention to detail with harmony, each piece is crafted using a variety of metal-working techniques, giving a real relief which characterizing the creations of ASTROM. For all its collections, ASTROM imposes the highest standards of high jewellery, traceability of raw materials, a selection of gems with intense and exceptional colours, and the use of recycled gold.

The passion for gems

The colour and depth of gems are a source of inspiration for Laurent BAEZA, Artistic Director. ASTROM is committed to bringing together gems of the high-end quality with intense colours for all its collections, without exception. Initiating the eye is a crucial step to distinguish all the shade of colours present in each stone. For Laurent BAEZA, the choice of stones means marching the sizes, the colours and the caratages to create the most beautiful harmonies. Each gems tells its own story and invites you to escape.

The craftsmanship

Each creation is made in collaboration with the high-end workshops working for the Place Vendôme, affiliated to the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label. The excellence is achieved after a great deal of thoughts, followed by a great dexterity and meticulousness in the gestures performed by each craftsman. Thus, all of them work with extreme agility to ensure that each part of metal, even hidden, is shaped with different techniques and different types of setting, identifying the stylistic codes of ASTROM, while at the same time meeting the requirements of High Jewellery.
